Very faint positive...help!

hi all...well i came off the pill 5 weeks ago and we started trying. Yesterday I did a tesco test and we thought we saw a very, very faint line bit like a shadow within the time limit. I went and bought 2 first response tests on the way to work cos I couldn't wait. Did one and only waited about 3 mins, thought I may have seen a faint line but thought it was just me so shoved it in my bag and went back into work...when I looked a couple of hours later a light but very definate pink line had appeared!

Did the 2nd first response this morning and watched it like a hawk. Within 3 mins a very, very faint line (barely there unless in the light) came up. My boyfriend came to look after 8 mins and could see it too. Its still there but much lighter than the FR from yesterday. What do you all think????

i think it sounds possible! if you have another hpt take another one in the morning, pregnancy hormones double every other day so from the one you took yesterday to the one you migght take tomorrow there should be some difference

thank you..i'm hoping so! we didn't expect it to happen so soon after stopping the pill but now i've had the faint lines i can't stop thinking about it! its torture!!

i would hold my pee for atleast 3 hours, make sure you dont have anything to drink as this will dilute your wee and do another, thats just me though
it does sound promising, a line is a line

yeah you could always do that if you dont want to wait! i would not take another until tomorrow personally, just to let the hormones increase a little bit more, if you do another today you might just end up with the same result as this morning, although this is coming from the worlds biggest poas addict going lol!

think i will wait till tomorrow, told my bf we would wait till next week but even he said you've no chance of doing that lol. i'm just so impatient. might go stock up on a few cheap ones at dinner time then i can do one everyday. just been inspecting it again and there is a definate line there, so faint but definately there...eeek!

ha ha next week yeah right lol lol lol i am amazed that i have only taken one hpt and im 11dpo lol normally by now i have taken like 6! only have one test left so wont be takin it until saturday if i get that far! lol lol lol

Awwww congrats!!!

It sounds like a true positive result to me

I fell straight away with my first two children..some of us are lucky lol

My second preg test i remember being very very very faint...it was postive though

You dont usually get any reading on a test unless there are hormones present

aww thank yooou. feel much more positive after reading your comments. i've read a lot of different stuff and one min i'm thinking it defo is then i doubt it again. the line is still there anyway, and the ones from yesterday. the one from today is fainter than yesterdays tho and todays was from fmu yesterdays smu..don't know if it makes a difference

Congrats am sure you are pregnant, I got My BFP last fri using clearblue digital, done 4 seperate tests as still didnt believe it but it definatly was

well guys i did a superdrug early test this morning and got a big fat NOTHING! gutted and confused. looked at the first response from yesterday and the very faint line is still there so god knows whats going on

Try again on Sunday. A false negative is much, much more likely than a false positive!
