I want to know the sex of my baby im 15weeks 2 days. I want to get a 3d/4d scan has anyone had one? Do you think its to early to find out the sex and to go get one if i went next week? I know if i get one in 3d/4d now baby will look not look like much of a baby but i found a place that offers this

I know what you mean I couldnt wait to find out either! I had a scan at 16 + 4 and found out it was a little boy I thunk most places recommend you are over 16 weeks but I know people have found out earlier My scan was in 2D with some shots in 4D but I think 4D scans are better once you are around the 24 week mark

I was tempted to get a 4D around that time but decided that I would just wait and see if I had a nicer experience with this scan (first was horrendous, very rude ladies) if I don't i'll have one though!

I think it depends on your area lovie. The 3D/4D place closest to me won't go a gender scan until you're at least 22weeks and you've had your anomoly scan. If you're looking for great 3d/4d pics and movies then I would say hold off until around 27-ish weeks as around that period is optimum. If it's purely gender you're after then go whenever you like. I know it's really hard waiting but if it were me I would personally wait until the 20 week scan, and then go for a 3D/4D after. That way you know you'll definitely see the baby again after your "last" scan and the pics/movie will be soo much better.

Obviously it's up to you though, just my thoughts on the matter

sorry, just noticed it was a 2 visit deal do they give you a time scale of when you have to use your second visit by? If not then that would cover all areas and be great

I think im going to do it!

It does not have a time frame on it i want to do one now or this coming week and then do the other later once the baby has got some fat and looks like a baby. They also have a satisfaction guarantee so if they cant find out this week 15 weeks since that when they said they can determine gender they will re do the scan for free.

For me 1 of those visits is already $175!

I'd do it, but I'd wait until you're at least 20 weeks or so.
I saw my baby in 3d at 17 weeks and she was kinda alien looking LOL.
Personally I'd wait and do one around 25 weeks and 1 around 32 weeks!

If you really wanna know the gender I'd at least wait till 16-17 weeks. cause 15 weeks is REALLY early to determine the gender.
