very irregular periods

Hi there

I am 31 years old and had a miscarriage in August 2009. We have been trying to conceive since, with no success.

Since my miscarriage, my periods have been irregular anywhere from 27 to 36 days between. Last month I waited 51 days for my period to arrive and right now I am on day 35.

I am going crazy because every time my period is late I get my hopes up.

My doctor did blood work and told me everything is normal, but I am not believing that.

Before my miscarriage, my cycles were regular.

does anyone have any advice? I cannot even tell when or if I am ovulating so we are really just taking a stab in the dark when we try.

Hello, So sorry to hear about your misscarriage.

Im not sure if im much help myself, But i did used to have regular periods in the past (before knee surgery) But it seems after this mine are quite irregular also. I dont know why, or/if im ovulating either. I have started using some cheap OPK's to see if/when i do ovulate now, Maybe buy some and test to see if/when you are.

Hi hon, really sorry for you loss Didn't want to read and run, but I really dunno what to say. Have the doctors done a scan of ovaries etc? Since its been an year of trying after the M/C, the docs might be willing to look more in to it.
