Some men I suppose take to pregnancy in not the way we hope I guess.


You don't think he has something else on his mind do you and just using the pregnancy as an excuse? Like say money worries or worrying he'll not make a good dad - maybe he is panicking and taking it out on you when it could be his own insecurities kicking in.
I think he should get a grip of this sex thing though - he wont die from abstaining and it's not the end of the world to go without.

My hubby and I are newleyweds (married August 31st) and we found out we were pregnant 3 weeks after the wedding. Since then I would say we have had sex maybe 3 times at the most. And it was not by my choice. I wanted to, and even jumped him the last time, but he has got no urge. My hubby loves his sex... and his porn and pictures of naked women. If that is what he enjoys, I don't begrudge him. I don't care for porn and made sure he understood that. I have expressed many times that I wanted and craved sex, but deep down inside I think he is afraid that he will hurt either me or the baby. So in my case, the tables are turned. But now, at 36w3d I don't want anything to do with it because I am so uncomfortable.

Your hubby sounds frustrated... which could all be part of sympathy pains. Remember, this baby is not only changing you, it is changing him. (Although most men won't admit they are afraid)

He has a good job that pays pretty good. Our rent is low and we live in a great place. We bought an outfit for the baby (a super cute little striped dress) the other day and he was about to like hyperventalate right there in the baby section of Walmart.
It totally freaked me out. I want to help but everytime I try he freaks and acts all macho and yells at me.

So... I know that hes stressed about being a new daddy and hes obviously scared of having a baby girl (or just a baby in general).
