Hi Ladies,
Im visiting from 1st tri. I was curious. Has anyone done the ring test ( or needle test) to guess the sex of their baby and it was accurate. I thought it would be eaiser to ask some mommies who know the sex of their babies.

I did try it and according to the test I was having a girl ..according to all old wives tales I was having a girl ..and well 20 week scan rolled around, it was a boy, so they didn't work for me ..although they are fun to try

Every test and old wives tale (including the ring and chinese gender chart) said boy....it's a girl!

mine said boy and its a girl, then when i did it on my hand it was a girl so i wouldnt listen to it personally xx

I did it and it was correct - girl
The chinese thing was wrong, and old wives tales for how I'm carrying are wrong, I'm carrying really low and everyone says boy - I say no, actually shes a girl?!

Hi yes i had it done twice on me by an aunt and my brother in law, both said it was a boy, i did it my self but using my pendulum and it went crazy for a girl, and i later found out i am having a girl, so the ring test didnt work for me but my pendulum definetly did

It has been most acurate for me, predicted girl, auburn hair which me suspect anyway cos hes blonde and im dark, green eyes and my bf has green in his eyes, etc give it a go for fun

I havent done it for 2 reasons:

1) I don't have a wedding ring

2) I prefer the tried and tested good old fashioned scientific method!

God I hate snake oil bullshit

I did the ring test and it was correct for me, a girl.
I also found the cabbage test worked (did it twice) and all the old wives tales where correct.
I have to say aswell, after having 2 boys this pregnancy and bump shape have been totally different.

my aunt did the ring test really really early in me... had me lay down and everything... said it was a boy.. and we find out in the next few weeks but all ultrasounds say boy....

We did the needle test and it went back and forth 3 times then stopped,meaning I was going to have 3 boys. We found out at our 20 week scan that we were having a girl!!So didn't work for me lolxx

we did it over my belly and it predicted a girl and It was right.. I wouldnt trust this... you have a 50/50 chance.
