Vivid Miscarriage dream

hi all,

im 10 +6 weeks and last night i had a really vivid dream i was having a miscarriage. It started with a scan which show the baby had no fluid around it and was basically waiting to be passed out of my body. I spent the rest of the dream trying to find my husband and crying and bleeding, it was awful.

I was so upset and it took a little while to realise it was a dream and i was still pregnant after i woke up

but its scared the life out of me and now iv read all these stories that women dreamed their miscarriages a few days before it happened

i know vivid dreams are common at this stage of pregnancy, but has anyone else dreamt of a miscarriage.

i have also felt a bit of achyness aroudn my uterus today as well, nothing sharp, bit like really mild period pain, but i havent had these types of pain for a few weeks now.

Yes I've had similar dreams too. I think it is because I spend so long worrying about it in the daytime so it is on my mind in my sleep.

I had a crazy miscarriage dream last week and was completely freaked out about it as well, but as far as I know everything is still okay. I think it's probably normal to be dreaming about it since that's something we are all worried about.

I wrote a post about dreams, I suffer from bad ones too . A girl said she thinks the dreams you have depend on your feelings, so if you worry about miscarriage (just in general or because of having one in the past) that may be the reason why.

I think its normal because it is a worry and on our mind. I dreamt last night that I bled really heavily and then went to bed. I was so scared when I woke up this morning, it took me a while to realise that it hadn't actually happened. Got my first scan Thursday so I am fretting a bit more this week, wondering if everything will be ok.

Dont worry ur dreams reflect ur fears and trust me ive had some distrubing dreams which werent at all nice however ur nearly 11 weeks now xx

I dreamt that my baby was black - my husband is White. We both didnt seem to notice - he was very cute! The problem was I had forgotten to feed him for 4 days. Was trying to breastfeed him but the nurse said he was 'beyond feeding' whatever that meant and we were really upset! The problem with these dreams is they seem very real. Try not to worry x
