Waiting to try!

I am so glad I can post here, and share my feelings with you all. I have 2 little boys, and I love them to bits, but my heart is aching for a little girl. So we decided to wait a bit as my youngest is 19 months now, and he needs to become a bit older first, and my oldest just turned 3. We would like to just have a few practical things in order, as having 3 kids are more tricky than having 2(for practicalities sake)...so we want a bigger car, hubby needs to have a higher paying job, and yeah my boys need to be a tad bigger.

So I was on the mini pil, and went off it, as my body does not cope on hormones. I am scheduled for the 12th of Oct to have the loop inserted, I am nervous though.

BUT...I was on the pill for 3 weeks only, then it gave me health issues again. The thing is we had normal sex(no withdrawal or extra protection) after 13 days being on the pill. Now I am a week off the pill and no withdrawal bleeding yet. Is that normal?

I cannot wait for things to fall into place so my little girly can come!! I am dreaming of pink already!

Welcome to WTT!!!

I think that, if you don't get a withdrawal bleed for the first month on the pill, it's normal.

Yes it is normal. There is a thread on bnb about coming off the pill and some women don't get bleedings at all for more than 100 days. I don't think you'll have to wait that long though because you've only been taking it for a short time. So fingers crossed you will get back to normal really soon! Good luck!

Thanks everyone, that calms the nerves re pregnancy. I cannot wait just to be regular again with my cycles. I have been struggling so much, and ended up in hospital with kidney problems and all. It ended up that I cannot cope with any form of hormones, so silly hey.

@lollyz...hehe, I am from South Africa, and a lady who is a coloured lady, told me in their community they drink some kind of herbal tea, and it is always 100% girl. I dont know the truth behind that...but yeah, worth trying. I dont know what other methods, but will surely do more research once we are there....

Well, they say that because the X sperm lasts longer, you should have sex only a couple of days before you ovulate.. Hehe don't know if it's true tho!

I've heard that too, but that's also asking for a wee bit of disappointment if you time it wrong and wind up missing out I'm interested in what this tea is!
