My 15 month old now wakes up at 5 instead of 6 since she has been in her toddler bed, nothing has changed so I'm not sure why. Does anyone have experience of this or advice?

I don't have first hand experience but didn't want to R+R, I think this is quite common from what I've heard from my friends with older LO's (mine is 13 months and still in a cot). I'm not sure why, can you let her just play in her bedroom until a decent time, then she might realize there is no point getting up too early? or give her a bottle and put her back in her bed? You might be putting her to bed too early? Sorry I cant be much help. x

She knows she can play but she won't, I'm going to try and put her to bed later thankyou tho x

For me, putting DD to bed later didn't change a thing lol! She goes to bed between 7.30/8.00 depending on how tired she is, and she gets up between 5 and 6am. Think its just one of those things tbh! SIL is having the same problem with nephew and he's still in his cot xx

Try a gro clOck. It takes time but we've gradually moved LO from waking at 4.45/5am till 6.15 at the moment - going to push a little later too!

DS gets up between 4 and 4.30am and is still in a cot, he used to wake this early then started going later just before clock change and now we are back to 4am starts. He is wide awake at this time so there is nothing we can do and regardless of what time he goes to bed he doesnt sleep later so that only results in him being hysterical at bedtime as he is too tired.

I will give the gro clock a go once he is able to understand it but at the moment he wouldnt get it at all.

My son has been the same since being in a big bed. He wakes anytime from 4am. No matter what time he goes bed.

Callums getting up earlier now hes in his toddler bed too, think he just likes having the freedom of being able to get out of bed and coming in to us! Not sure whats changed really though xx
