TBH you will get good and bad about every hospital!

I still chose the manor as it is local and I can get their in an emergency quickly!

i had my 1st baby ther last year, th midwfes wer complete arses to me, wel th ones on my ward wer. Didnt wana give me th time of day, very lng story. Duno if it was cuz im young bt stil doesent giv them th rite to treat patients, wel vulnerable women lyk tha tbf! Im due to giv birth there agen in 6wks, god help me lol. im 34wks n from leamore btw. X x

hey i live near you. webster road i have had good and bad experiences with the manor inclding horrific mc experiences that still realy upset me, if we drove i would probably choose to have my baby elsewhere... x im 25 having my 3rd being induced there in 3 weeks and tbh dont have a clue what i know i have found out off internet, they told me they were inducing me and gave me a leaflet that is it

i used to hang bwt round chuckery n livd rnd corna frm webster rd in beddows rd,wel wats lft of it anyway. Ooh me too, i was told to fne at 8am to book my bed to be induced n told me to av brekie n go up 4 9. Bt wen i got ther i didnt c a single person til 1, wel apart frm th tea lady aha. Thy jus left me to my own devices, if id knwn tha, i wudnt of gne up til 12. They act lyk they gta beta thngs t do! X x

Heya all Im having my baby at the Manor hosp too.. I had a crap experience there with my first, I was induced and they messed up with the propess things they induce with and gave me 2 instead of one.. too cut a long story short, I had almost continuous contractions from the start, dilated much too fast and my dd went into distress towards the end as it was too much for her.. saying that tho as soon as they knew theyd messed up they put me in a room to myself and were lovely to me.. Iv just heard another horror story aswell that someone my friend knows is going back into the manor today for an op after a surgical instrument from a c section op 3 years ago was left in thr :S how true it is i dont know :/ I didnt realise thr were a few people on here from these ends x

bloody hell im dreading it now wud sooner av her naturally but dont want her to die... my other two were natural births... my plan was to stay at home as long as poss

I had good and bad midwives when I was there.. you get the old school ones who are just bitches and seem to think they know best all the time, but there are lovely ones aswell.. I think its the same with any hospital really.. Im still bit worried bout going tho the closer its getting, Iv heard bad things about New cross too so just went with Manor again as its closer to me.. Im just hoping Iv not gota be induced this time x

They did when I had Millie there but that was 3 years ago, Im not sure now.. your best off asking midwife at ur next appointment x

no they dñt provide milk anymure. Thats y iv got my cartons all packed n ready to go. They do however giv u botles, those lil glass 1s i thnk, i pikd up a leaflet last wk at my antenatal app.. . Oh yeah, wud love tha, im th any 1 in my circle of friends thats gt kids, nvamind bein pregerz agen aha, so i dnt get t socialise much. X x

Hi Emma I booked my hospital visit when I was 20 weeks so you might struggle to get on one now as the only take 10 people round at a time and they only do the visits on a Saturday and Sunday x

ye great. My daughter is 15mnths, so shes into anythn n evrythn, shes hard wrk so fresh air wil do her gd, n probly wear her owt 4 me lol. X

Im from near Lichfield We live up North now though as husband was posted there with the Army. We come back to the midlands regulary though (im here now)... I had my first two babies at Burton and have decided if all goes well and i go into labour down here i shall go to Samuel Johnson Hospital in Lichfield. I havent even given other hospitals a thought to be honest. My midwife told me that Stafford has only ONE person booked there at the mo because of all the bad press. x
