Wanting another baby..

Jake's nearly 7 weeks and I really want to start trying for another baby! Im not the patient type either..

Is it normal to be this broody so quickly!
I really want to be pregnant again. I think I miss it which is something i'd never thought i'd hear myself say!

I always said i'd want Jake to be 2 when I delivered again but im not too sure if I can hold out that too long! I think it's also because I don't know how long it's going to take for me to fall pregnant again!

Hello, yes I think it is quite normal to feel broody so soon, I was exactly the same, I think its the hormones. Also, I really missed my bump big time, so I think this made me want another, although I know practically we can't afford another just yet financially or energy wise!

i think its really normal. allthough i didnt feel broody again hehe. i love my baba to bits but i cant imagine haveing 2 so young 2 look after. 1 is plenty for now hehe.
i would give your body time to recover first if u can wait that long hehe..

I'm the same. Even though I found the first few weeks really, really tough and emotionally draining, I was broody the whole time.

Now we're getting a bit more settled and I'm less hormonal, it's much easier to think clearly about it. I'm still in favour of a short age gap but I'm willing to take a few months to consider it carefully.

Don't rush into anything, just enjoy what you have for now : )

yes, i'm so broody.
i was so unhappy for the first couple of weeks, & couldn't imagine ever having another baby, but now, oh my god, i want another one sooo bad!

I was VERY broody and couldnt wait for another baby, now Daisy is 7 months old I dont feel it as much and could possible settle with having no more babys, its surprising how strong hormones are xxx

ive been like it since i recovered from section i could literally start trying now and have felt like this for ages i miss the whole experiance / names / nursery / scans etc etc i get bump envy when i see freinds lol xxx

i said i wanted another baby just after i gave birth! Hes 15weeks now and im still just as broody! We are gunna 'try' wait till hes nearly 2. Ahhhh... So i know exactly how you are feeling! Xxx

Dont want to wait too long as Im in late 30s now and times running out. I want LO to have a sibling close to her and not be only child.
Saw GP the other day and she said to wait a few more months at least to help the body recover as miscarriage is more likely if i rush into it.

I dont know how this would effect my job as I guess Id just have to leave and I dont know if i can afford to give up work altogether, i need to weigh up the options.
Have heard of people who go back to work only to fall pregnant again though. Not sure my company would like me too much though!

It doesnt matter what your company thinks even if you went back to work for 1day then back onto maternity leave they have to leave your job open for you because you went back. Xxx
