Warning, TMI! Cuts on inside of v-jay-jay!

Ok, so this is absoloutly, completely, totally embarrasing...BUT!
After going to the loo today I had extreme pain inside my v-jay-jay, so I used a damp piece of toilet paper to soothe it & discovered blood, so I made OH have a look & he discovered a 2cm long cut, but its really wide?
I have no idea how I got it, perhaps sex?
Has anyone else had this? Any ideas for healing, i've just been using salty water & antiseptic cream..

It could be thrush hun - I know this sounds very extreme but I have been struggling with continuous candida related problems for 3 years and although I've never had a cut right up inside my vagina, I have had cracks almost in the inside and around the opening that are sometimes over a cm wide when it was at its worst.

Are you having pain during sex or is your vagina swelling up after sex? Could be candida. I would suggest going to the docs and being swabbed for thrush.

It could also just be that hormones have made you particularly dry down there and sex has irritated you - use plenty of lube! Also if you go to the docs they can give you a moisturiser gentle enough to use down there to help.

i wudnt use creams inside as this may cause more irritation and may have ingredients that you shdunt use wen preggas! xx just use warm water with cotton wool to sooth x

Sex isnt painful, but yeah, sometimes it's swollen after sex,
I'll be sure to get it checked out.

I never used creams inside and would agree with the above, but the doctor prescribed me aqueous cream to wash with and use as a moisturizer on the outside which really helped with the cuts, and also doublebase cream.
