I'm just really curious as to whether you ladies who were convinced you were having a boy/girl ended up with the sex you thought or the opposite? I ask as I'm convinced I'm having a boy and loads of other people are too (not that what their theories are based on makes a difference haha) but I am so sure I am so will be really shocked if it's a girl.

It's crazy coz I've always wanted a little girl but since I've been thinking it's a boy I've gotten used to that idea and I'm kinda liking it now!

So what's your views?

people kept telling me i was having a boy so i started to believe it but if i ever had a dream about the baby it was always a girl. i also couldnt think of a single boys name i liked and picked a girls name straight away, i just put it down to secretly wanting a girl but maybe deep down i knew.

^That's me exactly. Everyone is saying boy but my dreams are saying it's a girl. I wanted a boy at first but a girl would be so much fun. I can't tell my bf that though lol He'll blame me for somehow magically changing the baby's sex to spite him

A lot of my friends have told me that they "feel" like it's a boy. So far, that's my feeling as well. However, if you choose to believe the heartbeat theory ... we're all wrong. :) Ha. But every baby dream I have is a baby boy dream.

I've been sure I was having a girl except for a couple weeks in the middle of first trimester when I thought I was having a boy. It turns out I was right and we're having a little girl.

I think I have convinced myself that I think its a boy... I would quite like a girl.. I already have a boy, hope that doesn't sound mean.. its not that I don't want a boy, but I would really like a girl...
Anyway I just keep geting drawn to boy stuff and when I deam about the baby its always a boy. I had a very odd dream lastnight where I was running around shouting 'It's a boy' to everyone! Lol

Someone I use to be friends with wanted a girl so much that she cried and ran out the room when they told her it was a boy she was having!!!

Well I have my 20 week scan at 10.10 so will update and let you all know (hopefully! s/he better let them see!!) as soon as I get home :)

Everyone including DH and I swore we were having a little boy! But nope, we're having a little girl! xx

aww good luck at your scan!

that must be horrible being that upset about the sex. i would have been slightly disappointed but i think i would get over it quite quickly.
also my 1000th post :) how sad am i lol

Oh, congrats on 1,000 posts! :)

Chris kept telling me it will be a girl, but I had no idea. It is a boy though lol.

I am one of those that knew from the very beginning... but I was very open to a girl too, if I had ended up being wrong.

I totally thought boy, but unless my 32 week scan reveals surprise bits it's a girl.

I was positive mine was a girl and so were a lot of other people, but i definately have a little boy

I thought I was having a boy, and sure enough I am ;)

Ok, with this one...I think boy one minute and girl the next. I really have no idea!!!

With my first, I thought he was a boy. We never found out with him, as we wanted a surprise at birth. I started calling him little Robbie (the original plan was to name him Robert after his daddy). Sure enough, when he was delivered, they said "it's a boy!" Except, I named him Jasper instead.

With my second...I had this old dresser, and I really really wanted to paint it pink. Everytime I had an u/s, they couldn't see! I didn't find out that she was infact, a girl, until I was 34 weeks...only three weeks before I gave birth. I never did paint that dresser! LOL!

i was 99% certain i was having a boy. we were told at our 20 week scan it's a girl, but i'll still be amazed if she comes out a girl!
xx

With my first, I 'knew' I was having a girl and I was right. This time I 'knew' I was having a boy and I was sooooo WRONG! Everybody else thought it would be a boy too but the sonographer said she was 98% sure, so....

Right from the beginning I said boy 100% I woul dget upset when I saw little girl clothes as I was adamant it was a boy and Id not get to buy any!!

Then at the 20 week they said 99.9% girl!

I was sure I was having a girl as my pregnancy this time right from the start was very different to my DS. I was very wrong and have another little boy on the way. Just goes to show every pregnancy is different, well for me anyway x x

I was convinced I was having a girl as I had such bad sickness. My mum and my sister have both had 3 girls and 1 boy and had horrendous sickness with the girls and none with the boys. They say pregnancy sickness can be genetic. I would have been really shocked at my 20 week scan if they said boy.... however they couldn't tell me as the baby had legs crossed! Found out at a growth scan at 24 weeks it is a girl! Going to get them to double check though that it is when I have another scan at 28 weeks. I always kept looking at girls clothes and had picked girls clothes before I had found out and had barely looked at boys stuff. Doubt this was me subconciously wanting a girl as this is my first and would have been equally happy with a boy. Every dream I had about the baby was of a gorgeous little boy though!
