washing question....

when washing pocket nappies can you leave the inserts in the nappies or should you remove them for each wash?!

I have been removing them but find it such a task putting them all back in again once they were clean so was hoping i could cut corners by leaving them in!

Anyone any ideas?

They wont clean properly and would take forever to dry, it takesseconds to take them out hun x

They probably would clean ok (after all, AIOs are just a sewn up pocket really!) but they probably wouldn't all stay in the pockets properly so you'd have to sort them out anyway. When I accidentally leave an insert in a pocket, they do get washed properly but the insert tends to bunch up in the pocket cos it's not sewn flat, so I have to flatten it out anyway. And they would take ages to dry like that.
