is it to stop pains and cramps ?
If you arent taking enough of it that is probably why you have so many cramps. Cramps are normal in pregnancy but if the cramps are caused by not enough water then I suggest drinking more. YOu cant tell until you have a sufficient amount of water.
I've had low amniotic fluid and was told to drink a ton of water. I try to drink a gallon a day or 16 8oz. glasses. It isn't easy. But has worked for me, as my amniotic fluid as steadily increased to normal after about a month of my increased water intake. (but my situation is a bit different then the norm)
