I may be acting a little doh here but i never even thought to get 1 for previous 2, do you use just a normal double one or is there a differet one? Also where have you got them from? Got a lovely mattress and dont want to ruin it!! Thanx for replies in advancexx

I got one from Mothercare, it was reduced I think! It's not on the mattress yet (really must do that!). I thought it was a good idea

I got one for my new mattress, I love it because its fabric on the top and plastic underneath so it doesn't make that awful crinkle noise when you move :) The only thing about it is that its really warm...

I just bought some maternity mats from boots. They were about a fiver for five, and we've put two on my side of the bed, under the sheet. I haven't really noticed them (I remember sleeping on the horrible crinkly plastic ones, eurgh!). I know you can get ones that are much better these days, but I think we need a mattress anyway so we're not that bothered. We can use the others in the car on the way to the hospital.

hey girls!
I got a special mat from boots which is sort of cotton type feel and not crinkly. It says its for use on cot beds or "for later stages of pregnancy and BF". Its not sweaty or noisy so I'm quite pleased with it, as I also didnt fancy my mattress getting wrecked!!
xx

I got disposible maternity mats from Tesco. I won't be putting them on until about 35 weeks, though.

I bought a mattress protector the other week and took it off after a few days as it left both me and OH feeling sweaty and uncomfortable. Tesco have a big baby event on at the moment and have their maternity mats on offer (£2 something if I recall) so I'm going to put these on tonight.

We got ours from Argos for £14.99. It's really comfy and doesn't make any noise. I forget it's even there!

i got mine from tescos, king size for less than £10 , i have a super king so i just folded it and placed under my fitted sheet.
