My scan is on Friday... at 7pm.

I'm DYING to get to Friday. So what's the best way to make this week quit dragging out?

I'm stuck in the house due to an ice storm.

    And it's only Tuesday.... :nope:

You could do a clearout, bagging up all the old stuff you will never use again to give to charity or take to the dump...

You could watch some good old films...

    Learn some new cooking recipes...

Use the internet to look at cute baby stuff...

I've been doing a thorough clearout recently to help the time go faster, I can;t believe how much junk I've collected over the years :dohh:

I have a 2 year old. Reading peacefully is a lovely idea, but I know it'll last 10 seconds before I hear "Mommy, watch this!"

Cooking sounds good. I'll have to see what I've got!

I do cross stitch in the evenings, I want to get good enough where I can do nice ones and give them as gifts. Also baking cakes, rice krispies cakes etc fun to do with a 2 years old.
My weeks have gone so quickly this time but I know once we have the 20 week scan and finally be half way everything is going to slow down again.

    Definitely going to try scrapbooking!

Laundry could use sorted, but I just cannot bring myself to do it. You can't imagine.

I spent the first half of the day playing firetrucks.

I was hoping my OH wouldn't have to go to work today due to the ice. When we're together, the day is cut in half, I swear it. 4 hours until he's home!

Sounds like you and I are in the same boat! I have a scan on tuesday (a week from today) and I'm also stuck in my house due to the ice. I have a two year old, so I can't get into any major projects and to make matters worse my DH is away on business until Thursday. DS and I made groundhog cookies today to celebrate tomorrow, that was my big excitement today!
