Hi
Am hoping someone can help me as my LO is now 7 months- he loves food but is now refusing to take his milk as i think he knows there is something better out there- if you try and get him to drink any milk he wont take it and spits it out if he does take some in his mouth- also i was being able to get 1 bottle into him first thing but for the last 2 days he has been bringing this back up- and its the whole bottle. Am unsure what to do- do i change the formula he is on as would this now stop agreeing with him????? Please help i am getting soooo worried for him and the HV in my area are crap!

Hi hun, we switched to follow on at around 7 months as Omar was off his formula. He is on 3 bottles 5-6 oz each since he was 7 months. He refuses to take formula when he's active, so we only give him his bottles before his naps in a dark room with no distractions. U can make up for the dropped ozs by offering him more dairy like cheese & yoghurt. If u can maintain between 18-21 oz it would be great as it's all what he needs with his solids at this age xx

Why not try cereal with milk first thing in the morning rather than a bottle? Anna has cereal made with 3oz milk then drinks 3oz from a bottle.

Are you offering solids when he will be really hungry?

And solids first before any milk?

I add milk to a few of Anna's meals eg pototoes to make mash, to make scrambled eggs with.

How much milk is he actually taking a day?:flower:
