Wee/cm leakage!

I know weve had this loads of times in general but I was just wondering how many of us are actually using pads/tena?

Im 23 weeks this Friday and for the last few weeks my pants are getting quite damp and Im having to change them once a day (tmi, sorry!)

Im not very active as I lost my job and dont really go anywhere so even just sitting or doing things around the house, I seem to be 'leaking'. Its not pleasant and I dont really want to wear pads all the time but it seems like the only way now :(

Anyone else?

Thanks
Rachel :)

I tend to use them every day, especially when I'm at work.

I've been needing to use them since early on in this pregnancy, last time it was only towards the end when I needed to use them! I guess because this is my second my cervix isn't fully closed and that's why I might be leaking more, but I don't know, I need to have a chat to my midwife about it!

Thanks for replying Leigh. Its been happening a few weeks now and it feels worse than it is but I think Tena is in order LOL
x

I've been getting this but I am stubbornly refusing to buy Tena lol! I'm having to change about 2 or 3 times a day...don't want to tell my consultant as it was one of the questions she asked me at my 16 week appt and could rule out a vaginal delivery eeeek! Glad I'm not the only one!

lol i wear them in case i cough or sneeze my pelvic floor isnt the same after 2 kids lol got lots of work to do on it through this pregnancy and beyond

Thanks TraceyAnn. I was going to ring my midwife but feel silly asking her! Ive googled it and its mixed comments, some saying its a reason to worry and others saying its normal. Im not worried at all but its not nice! Grr.

Its my first baby and I cringe doing pelvic floor exercises :(

I've been using liners due to the increased CM since about 17 weeks. It only gets worse ;)

hi all can i add that it was only last week that i coughed and peed  was so embarrassed luckily was at home so could change but since then i really concious of coughing just in case lol... think i might have to go shopping for pads (and here was me enjoying 6 months pad free... god they are so uncomfortable!!!)

I don't have any actual leakage, but what i do suffer from is a little bit of pee if I cough or sneeze - I use tena ladies all the time xxxx

I've been lucky so far, in that I dont seem to have any leakage, but I've noticed things are distinctly ' different ' down there... Probably tmi but I often feel sweatier than usual... Not in a gross stinky way, just in a wet way lol!
Although now I'm saying it, it could be leakage I suppose.
Sorry Rach, clearly I dont have a clue lol x

I just sat here on another thread (as you do) and I felt loads dribble out, I don't want to move now! Thank god I don't sit around without any knickers on!

LOL Leigh thats what I thought as I was reading the replies but when I went to loo loo there was nothing there for a change!
x

There was a little bit there but I think it mostly went in the toilet

I now have a pantyliner on *sigh* they're so bloody long, if I buy a small pack by mistake I hate it and can't use them :( Need to be the mahoosive long ones to get in all the areas, one of the downfalls of being a big girl :( At least they're not huge full on pads though like I'll need when I get a cold and have the lovely experience of bladder weakness!

Dont use anything but I dont have any need to.

I didnt need anything throughout the whole of my first pregnancy either.

:flower:

i have had to wear pantliners the last 2 days as i noticed a lot more cm. i actually thought i had peed myself but when i checked it was very watery cm. can remember this from 1st pregnancy also.

I have a little leakage down there, but it's not that bad (yet), but when it does I will probably use pads. xx

I have noticed my knickers are damper at the end of the day but I'm not using anything. I just feel generally sweatier down there. Pleased to hear its only going to get worse as well!

Mine has increased over the last few weeks, spoke to doc she said all is ok. Not a nice side effect is it?
