Bea is weeing lots at night. We put her in a new nappy minutes before bed but recently when I get her up her best/pjs and even grow bag is wet.
Anyone come across this? Any suggestions?

We've had this issue off and on with LO- and tried many tricks and different things. What works before for our LO is to buy diapers one size bigger- and make sure they are overnight specific diapers. She'd fit a size 3 great- so we get size 4. Huggies overnights. They can get super full- and no leaks so far.

Another trick is not only to buy bigger diapers- but buy extra pads to go inside at night. This helps soak up the pee better. You can buy resuable ones- that just throw in the wash, or disposable ones. We tried that for a bit till we found out what worked.

Least that is what works for our LO. Best of luck!

Had this problem with Maria, mostly it was because she was drinking a lot at night but even now, when she doesn't have more than 200ml in a night, she still occasionally wets through but I find its because she sleeps on her tummy so she doesn't actually fill her nappy, the wee goes up her belly and comes out the top of the nappy. Doing the nappy up tighter seems to stop this.

I have had this with both of mine and haven't found anything that helps, sorry no advise but I do think its not unusual

The only thing that works for us is putting 2 nappies on with the second one back to front x

we've had the same problem here, which is the main reason I've had to stop cloth diapering DD as every morning when I would get up to get her, she would be soaked through her jams, the crib sheet, through the mattress pad and onto the mattress, and her entire room just stunk of wee :( I've had to put her into disposables since then after I got sick of washing her crib sheets, wrestling with the mattress to put it back on, and then take it all off again first thing the next morning.

Do you take note of how much your LO consumes or drinks before bed? I try to cut DD off about an hour before bed so that she gets most of the wee out into her current diaper right before I change her for the night. Maybe it's the brand of diaper you are using, you could always try switching to another brand. Some brands have more absorbent diapers designed specifically for night time. We use Pampers 12 hours diapers for the night and they seem to work well, she hasn't had a leak in a long while.
