Weekend plans?

In Canada it's the last long weekend of summer before school starts next Tuesday.

Looks like Amanda will be getting her room painted. I also have to take her and my stepdaughter to get a haircut. On Sunday, Amanda has a playdate of which I am bringing them to get a manicure. Other than this, I need to do a big grocery shop and clean my house before the routine of school begins.

What are you doing this weekend?

We're off to Beamish, the steam fare is on and its normally good

Then on Sunday we'll go swimming early, lo normally sleeps for a good while after that and we do the housework

Going shopping for winter clothes and for a haircut on Saturday. Sunday we are going to go out somewhere for the day, Leeds castle I think x

SHOPPING! All day tomorrow with my chum - some wine may be involved too! xxx

today i am going to buy a new jacket that is on sale at old navy and i have a going away party to go to tonight with my OH.

tomorrow i am going to the farmer's market in the morning to collect our produce for the week and then i will be heading over to OH's dad's house to watch the opening university of nebraska football game. it's a BIG deal here!

aaaand sunday i will probably have to work.

tomorrow we are off to mothercare to pick up the final couple of bits we need for baby!

Sunday we are out to lunch with the lovely hobnob & her hubby for our 'pre baby lunch'

tomorrow is my birthday!!! big 30.

we are off to a carnaval tomorrow with family, and maybe a few birthday drinks (no alcohol for me though.

and sunday, we are taking dh and the kids motorcross bikes, to a practice track, and have a picnic there too.

so a very busy weekend for us.

Today we are preparing for a hurricane, OH has to get the boat prepared, MIL's yard chairs put away (she is away). Then tomorrow OH will be spending the night on the boat to make sure the pumps are working as we are supposed to get a lot of rain and incase he has to go rescue any ferries if a cable breaks. Other than that I will be hanging out at the house and hopefully still have power so I can talk to you all.

Lo is going to his Grans first thing tomorrow, and we are driving to pick up a playtable i won on ebay for a FIVER ! BARRRGAAAAAIN then prob do some decorating ... x
