Weight Loss Club for a BFP!*Weight loss thread 51lbs!***13 BFP's

had dr's today and she wants me to lose weight quicker for referal, if i'm not losing weight then do i really want this baby? should have lied!! would have been less of an ear bashing!
 
I wish i had the will power to only visit the scales every two weeks!!! I know i should and that its bad to becone obsessed but it is just way too tempting when its here!!

I struggle to go more than a few days without weighing myself!!

Tigerlilly - did your DR say that? Losing weight is very hard, and different people find it easier in different ways, its lots of trial and error. By all means focus on the baby as a goal of losing weight, but even if you dont lose much fast that doesnt mean you don't want one enough!! The fact you are trying at all is proof you do!

hi ladies i'm ok about her comment, oddly enough. I think it was a massive kick up the bum. Have to have the cd21 done again. The only thing to hold us back from getting treatment is my BMI. pffft and when thinking about it i've had more then long enought to sort it out, been ttc for nearly 2yrs and not done much about my weight so i think i need to be a little tougher on myself for a wee while to get motivated !!??!!?

I did Zumba this morning and tomorrow morning will be doing kickboxing! The weekends are always hard for me food wise. I had two parties this weekend so that pretty much blew the food portion of it. Back on the horse tomorrow!

Hello ladies. I would like to join this thread with you. I have been ttc for almost 2 years. I have been seeing a fertility specialist since June 2011. I got preg. but miscarried on Nov. 10th at 6 weeks :cry:. The dr. wanted to wait 3 months before trying again. So my next appointment with him is coming up on Feb. 1st. I need to lose at least 60lbs. I think it would really help to be able to talk to people who are going through the same struggles. Just reading your posts makes me feel motivated. :winkwink:

Sorry about your miscarriage! :hugs: So far everyone has been very encouraging on this thread. Are you planning to follow any particular diet plan?

Leikela, that's how I feel, parties this weekend plus af came Saturday morning :-( back to the exercise routine tomorrow. I ran a 1/2 mile on the treadmill. I know that doesn't sound like a big deal, but its a big step for me. Excited to gradually run more.

1/2 a mile is great! Hey, you are moving and that's all that counts! Even on my day off from the gym, I "move". Usually by cleaning the house, but I work up a sweat doing it. It does burn calories. :) Keep up the great work!
 
Well I recently bought an exercise bike and have managed to go 2 miles at a time on it. Now the trick is making myself do it everyday. I am trying to cut down on portions and trying to really cut down on my dr. pepper addiction :haha: I have bought healthier foods to take for lunch to try to avoid eating fast food.
 
Awesome Jcorinne! Enjoy your bicycle! Have you ever tried Diet Dr. Pepper? I think it is the closet Diet soda to actually taste almost like the real thing!
 
I have not tried Diet Dr. Pepper. I may give it a try. But you know I actually read a study that showed people who changed to diet pop didn't really lose any significant weight. I may have to change to diet while I try to transition to drinking water....yuck! That way at least I wont be consuming as many calories. :thumbup:
 
I am so proud of myself, lol... This evening I did 20 mins in the elliptical, 20mins on the bike and 20 on the treadmill, including running my half mile. I worked hard and my shirt was soaked! It was awesome!

@ Jcorinne, once you give up soda or most of it, water will taste so good and become your best friend. I love water and to think I use to hate it too! And I was a soda addict and gave it up in 2008. One of the best decisions I ever made.
