After 34weeks and 3days Matilda (Tilly) Grace entered the world on Monday, 24th August at 08:53, weighing 5lb 4... followed 1 minute later by her little(!) brother, Jasper (Jas) Gabriel, weighing 5lb 15.
My waters broke at 04:00am on Monday morning after a very uncomfortable night. Obviously we hadn't packed my bag yet, so had to faff around for an hour before setting off for the hospital. Got to the hospital at 06:00 to be told that my cervix was fully closed, so put on monitors. About an hour later the doctors decide to do a scan to find their positions and after only a minute of scanning the doctor quickly does an internal and says I'm now 4cms and we need to prep for emergency c-section. The rest, as they say, is history
Both cried immediately and had no problems at all. We've been on the ward for the last week to help with their tube feeding and establish breast feeding. Last night was our first night at home and we're on cloud nine

Congrats! They look so cute! They grow up so fast! My twins are 3 and I cannot believe how small they were when they were born. They didn't even make it to the 25th percentile at birth and now they are in the 90th - 95th percentile for height. The only advice I will give you is some that helped me out a lot till they were on a better schedule and that is when 1 wakes up and your done taking care of him or her wake the other one up and then you'll be able to get a little more sleep.
