After having fairly regular and painful contractions ALL day and last night they have now died off this evening.

i am having the occasional contraction still, but they were getting more regular and painful and then just seemed to totally calm off. when i walk they hurt more? I have obviously been in labour before, so know they are definately contractions.

Little one will come when she is good and ready, but i wish she would stop playing with mummy as i was up all night in discomfort and have had to entertain my very active 2 yr old today, through the pain. Its rather tiring.

Thing is I was convinced i would be at least 10days overdue till the contractions started last night xx

Good luck! Im due a day before you and not having any contractions like you yet but i bet it must be really REALLY frustrating when they just come and go. The 9month wait's a tease itself, let alone having unpredictable contractions! hope things happen for you soon xxx

this happened to me too! over the weekend i had 10 hours of contractions getting stronger and closer together. we went to get checked because i hadnt seen my doctor in 2.5 weeks, but they checked and i was only at 1cm. then the next day the contractions started to get less intense and further apart. since monday ive only had 2-3 per hour. and when i went in yesterday to have my appointment i was still at only 1cm. the doctor told me i was probably in for a long wait...and i would probably go overdue. bleh! its not fair for our LOs to get our hopes up like this and then just squash them again so quickly! hopefully yours will come back and youll soon be in proper labour!
