So I went to my ultrasound today, Tech found a cyst on my right ovary, and found that my left ovary had minimal blood flow. My doctor told me that due to my test results that I would have a very slim to none chance of getting pregnant.:cry::cry: I'm completely crushed, Having kids was one of my biggest dreams. I find out more on monday about the rest of my test results.

Luckily I have my wonderful OH to help me get through this. Hes been super supportive through all this, Come to find out deep down having a kid was one of his dreams too..:cry::cry:

I'll still be around the forums, try to help out where I can, you all have been so supportive its all I can do to try to give back.

Thank you all so much for your support through this.

So sorry to hear that! Slim to none doesn't mean you won't ever have a baby. Have you thought about other options at this point? Best wishes in dealing with everything!

Don't give up hope, they told me I wouldn't be able to have kids after my daughter and I had a son and a mc since then :) all things are possible, did you think about ivf or anything like that?

:hugs: don't write yourself off. A friend had a baby after being told she didn't stand a chance like yourself. Our bodies can perform amazing miracles. Cysts dissapear or shrink sometimes, blood flow can resolve itself xx

My insurance doesn't cover ivf, and I can't afford it out of pocket right now. my doctor said that I could try a couple of meds, like clomid, and see how that turns out... if that doesnt work then I could try surgery to either remove the cyst or try to repair the bloodflow. So I know theres a very small chance, but at the moment I'm not counting on it.

Don't write it off like that, you can start to save some money for IVF and meanwhile maybe you can have a surprise BFP. And there are things that can be done about the cyst like going on the pill for a while, etc. I'm sure your doctor will help you through this.

A girl i used to know was told that she had 0% chance of conceiving, she didnt go into detail but just said that she didnt have the right "equipment" - one night we went to see a psychic who told her that she will have a baby boy - she shrugged it off as a fake - then a few months later she announced that she was pregnant and has now got two little boys!

The cyst they can deal with, the low blood flow they can deal with - dont write yourself off.

Its lovely that your OH is so supportive

I wish you tons of luck
xx

Don't know much about either things but if you still have info to get on Monday it's not the last step.

Will keep my fingers crossed for you. x

So sorry to hear this hun :hugs:

Just to give you a success story that may help you a little.

My aunt who was diagnosed with many many infertility issues after almost a decade of trying and being told she had a very slim chance of getting pregnant decided to opt for adopting.

On the day they signed the papers to adopt their wonderful little girl, she ran to the bathroom to be sick.

She felt odd and knew something was different, she took a test and low and behold she was pregnant!!

She was so scared they would take their adopted little one off them that she ran down the street with her once everything was put in place. :haha:

She went on to have two biological children.

It does happen keep the faith but their are other options hun.

my thoughts are with you :flower:

I was told at age 15 that I would NEVER have children since my uterus was almost folded in half. I now have 5 daughters, trying for #6. So if I can do it, you can too.

aw im sorry. i definitely agree with all these ladies dont count yourself out yet there is so much that can be done..i would say maybe start with the clomid and see with happens and if that doesnt work then go to the next step and so forth...good luck

sending massive massive hugs!!! :( i belive in miracles though so please keep faith xxx

Thank you all for all the kind words. Its a lot to deal with hearing that you have a next to none chance. Im gonna talk with OH tonight and see what he thinks we should do. and talk to my doctor about clomind next month.

I had a really bad experience with a couple different BC's one deing the depo the other being the pill so BC is out of the question. but as far as all the other options go OH and i will talk aout them tonight.

Hey,

Sorry to hear this. The cyst shouldn't stop you getting pregnant. It may at the moment but wont forever.

Have a read up on apple cider vinegar and caster oil packs for the cyst.

Don't give up hope.

Good luck!

Fx for the future. There are a lot of success stories so I hope soon you come back to tell us your happy ending.
