Hi guys, I don't know if you remember my post last week about a soreness under my arm when I would lift. Also it was tender to touch. Thankfully it has eased up a lot but I still had my appointment today and I thought I should still go and get checked out.

Anyway thankfully she did a breast exam and an ultrasound on a painful spot on my breast and said it was just breast tissue. However before the doctor came in the PA also examined me and asked me to lift my arms behind my head. She looked kind of puzzled and said well my right arm (the same side where I am having the underarm pain) is slightly bigger then my left. That is why she called the doctor in right away. When the doctor came in she said its fine and its probably just assymetry and nothing to worry about.

I left content from the doctors office but now I am starting to think, why is my right arm slightly larger? Is their something they could be missing? Sorry for this rant. I am just stressed out again and of course I can't go back to the same office because they will think I am psycho but I would really like answers :(

Sorry your going through this. I would get a second and even third opinion. From my personal experience, two pediatricians told me that nothing was wrong with my daughter. Finally the third one agreed to do blood tests. And we did find out she was anemic. So I would definitely get another opinion.

My right arm is bigger than my left, but not by a lot and probably not really all that noticeable. I was measured at the gym b/4 I started a new program and my right are is almost an inch bigger than the left. I assumed it was bc I'm right handed and use it more. I also have one breast bigger than the other. I think that's common too. You can always get a second opinion if you're worried.

Our bodies are not perfectly symmetrical, it's normal. I wouldn't dwell on that

Are you rught handed? Do more work with one side? That would explain it.
but if you're worried get checked out again.

Thanks guys all doctors told me its hormones...I have this relentless burning feeling under my armpit I don't know what to do. Every doctor gives me a different explanation :( it's really bringing me down
