Hows everyone feeling then?

I feel like i should have woken up today and a baby fell out of me!
Instead i just got a load of plug fall out lol

When i look at the date, its like the number ive been thinking about for 9 months...now its here, nothings happening!!!

I'm actually considering eating 8 pineapple cores aswell....


Ive got a question, Would ALL babies eventually come naturally? I know it doesnt happen for obvious reasons but in an unreal world...would every single baby eventually make their own way out if you left them however long they needed??
I woke up a little confused thinking about this

You know without complications I think they would. Women didn't induce babies before the 18th century unless extremely necessary (such as a still born or extreme distress). Most came when they were ready, and in reality a baby born 38-42wks is still classed as 'on time'. So though most women are induced before 42 weeks I don't think I child would stay inside for much longer.

hey im due today too.. had my sweep thurs and had few cramps and lost sum bloody discharge but now everythings stopped n just feel sick. feels like if i stood up the baby shud fall out too haha his so low its uncomftable..
hopefully it shudnt b too long for us now.. fingers crossed.. hope ur ok and not feeling to uncomftable etc

I've yet to meet anyone who has been pregnant for 18 years, ready to send them off to college lol.

I'm sure baby will come when it's ready.

Try and make the most of it. I was 3 days over with my DD and looking back, I wish I had just slept for those three days!

Thank your lucky stars you've at least had a bit of show girlies! I'm sat with BUGGER ALL going on and I can't tell you how frustrated I feel. I'd give anything for a bit of pain!! How weird!

Only reason hospitals induce now is just to generally reduce risk to mum and baby. But I know a few women who have gone to 42+5 naturally. Hospital will allow you to but I think it means you have to have daily checks from about 41+ weeks. Just to make sure the placenta isn't starting to fail.

Hi lozzy (and ladies)! Still here. Due date for #2 and NO action at all. My Kenny came the day after his due. Hopefully this boy will follow suit! Come on babies, come meet the family!

Funny you ask this but with my first his head didnt engage at all and started really high, when I was induced the midwife said it was really rare and I may NEVER have gone into labour naturally x

ive had loads of bloody mucus today, i keep standing up and feeling wet and its just all mucus!!!

i think u have to like pinapple alot haha.. has anyone else noticed that walkin is supposed to b good for u to bring on labour, all ive seemed to do that even my dogs look at me now and think not again haha but its real uncomfatable now? like when i walk i can feel him bearing down and feels horrible and slightly painful... am i the only one

yeah walking isnt a good thing for me at the moment lol, it kills!!
