We're going to be the couple who don't name their baby for weeks!

I can't believe how hard it is!!

We've been talking about names for weeks and weeks and still haven't really come up with anything we both agree on.

How on earth do you choose?!

We know we're having a girl and agree that we both quite like Ava, Jasmine, Layla and Poppy but I just can't imagine a real live person with one of those names!

Is that normal? Will we know what suits her once she is born?!

we were exactly the same and agreed on our babies name about a week after she was born. To be honest it wasn't so much us, as it was everyone else nitpicking about the names we picked. We liked the names Camilla, Lara, Samia and we settled on Delilah. Even now though I do refer to her as the baby rather than by her name, not really sure why maybe I'm not used to it. I think the names you have picked are really lovely and any combination would be nice.

We've only got 4 weeks to go and still don't really have a list! I think we have a girls name, but I don't really like any boys names! I thought it would be easy but when DH says no to my suggestions and I say no to his, we don't get very far...!

I'm the same, I like Cody for a boy but can't find a girls name I love. There are lots I like but I just don't love them. I want something different but not too odd. I quite like Skye, ruby and Lola but I just can't picture our baby with those names!

I am sure that once she is born you will find a name to suit her

We have a first name sorted, it was one I suggested as an 'ok' name and OH absolutely loved it and started calling baby by it immediately and I wouldnt want to take it away from him. The problem being, he is not quite as supportive when it comes to my choice of a middle name and I keep getting scrunched up faces at my suggestions!!
