Hi ladies!!

So after a few weeks of feeling super queasy and nauseaus  I finally got my strength back and decided to get back to the gym...

I started with some cardio in the elliptical and a simple weight lifting routine (meaning like 5 to 10 pund dumbells) trying to avoid any effort made with my abs...

What are you doing to keep fit during pregnancy??? :happydance:

Hugs!!! :hugs:

Wow, good for you!!! I wish I wish so motivated! Although I just started browsing the maternity clothes online and those ladies look HOT pregnant, so I feel more motivated to keep in shape now :)

I just got taken off high-risk, so I am still nervous to do anything.....but I am considering walking for about 30 minutes maybe every other day. It's ok to do light weights too?

I'm same as you, 10 weeks and 1 day :)))) You just started feeling less nauseaus?

I'm 10w1d and I started getting less nauseous last week, now it's gone!! I don't exercise :-( I was feeling so horrendous and am still really tired. I want to start walking, and maybe buy a prego exercise video :)

Looking after 2 horses and 2 dogs keeps me active and fit!! Lots of walking, lugging bales and full wheelbarrows around. Easing off on the horse riding the further along I get and will probably stop riding completely at about 14 wks as not worth the risk in my eyes.

Sounds fab!

I'm only 5+3 but still going to the gym 2-3 times a week. I take it a bit easier and just do 15 mins on a bike and 15 mins walking with some easy weights.

In hoping to carry on at least for a few more months :)

Looking after 2 horses, riding occasionally, also 1 dog, 20 geese, 10 ducks, and helping with 500 racing pigeons. Gardening, and running round after a 2 year old!!! Not as fit as I used to be, but as my fitness likely caused my problems with labour last time I dont want to be too fit.......

I take pilates and yoga classes. I like to do some weight training (5-10lbs).

Also, I love going for walks. I like walking to my classes, as well as with hubby and my dog. The walks with hubby really give us some great time together with little distraction. Great time for baby chatting!!!

Constantly being on my feet all day looking after my 9 month old or out for walks with pram, up and down stairs at work etc! Wish I had time for the gym but I'm busy enough as it is i always wanted to join the running club in my area after giving birth but never got round to it and now that I'm 8 weeks pregnant again I wont be starting up a new routine :)

I work 12 hour days, so I can't spend all day at the gym, but since I'm FINALLY feeling better, I've just been doing light stuff like stationary bike and elliptical. I didn't work out at all when I wasn't feeling well, so I'm not trying to pick up where I left off. I'm used to really aggressive workouts, so this is frustrating and BORING. I'm going to talk to the OB next visit and go over this more with her.

Just light cardio everyday for about an hour. Since having my son, my workout routine is not nearly as great! In your free time you just want to lay down and watch a good show! Lol but with him I ran a few miles a day and workout till I gave birth. I was that cute fit looking pregnant woman and hoping this time I am the same way!

Aqua fit swimming and I may go back to gym this weekend see how one feels:)

Thanks a lot girls!!

This is my first pregnancy so I guess I´m kind of scared of becoming a huge multi-dimensional woman and having lots of trouble getting back to my 105 pound weight after giving birth... I work as a translator so I´m in front of the computer all day and really need to get my buttocks on the move!! LOL and having a gym just around the corner leaves me with no excuses!

I did some reading on the matter basically the advice is to take it easy, do what you were already doing before pregnancy, maybe a little lighter... and ALWAYS listen to your body!! if something doesn´t feel right don´t do it...

I read weight lifting is okay too, as long as you don´t increase the weight you lifted before getting prego.

I remember having a kick boxing instructor who did hard fitness training up to her 7-8 month!! So it is possible!!!

Looking forward to becoming a hot mom, just like you!! lol hugs!!
