Mine are as follows-

Oestrodiol- 152.5 pmol/l
Prolactin - 129 mu/l
LH- 5.6
FSH- 9.3
TSH- 1.59

(FBC, LFT, Glucose, Kidneys, hCG normal)

Is my FSH a little on the high side? I'm 33...

Also, I've no idea what my prolactin and estrodiol should be??

I cycle normally, but a bit on the short side. No sniff of a BFP since January 2009 (MC) hence the bloods.

Anyone know? :flower:

I was told FSH should be less than 12, so you look good there. However, I was also told estrogen (oestrodiol) should be < 50. Don't take my word for this, though - let's see if other ladies have been told differently.

i think it depends on the different reference ranges of different labs, my consultant says he likes fsh to be less than 9, but mine is 10.2, so although when we first went to see him he wasn't too concerned, but now after nearly 3 yrs he has mentioned it

My estrogen was measured in pmol/l... so this would convert the estrogen to 41.5 pg/ml I think?

Confusing! lol

Hi Dan, was to ask to ask about your results, but didn't think it would be back so soon. They are absolutely fine. They do like to see an fsh under 10 when doing ivf/icsi, but this is just an indication on how well you are likely to respond to drugs. Anything over 15 would be a bit concerning in terms of egg reserve. You are under 10 anyway, so that is fine. Your ostradiol is perfectly fine too.

Your LH indicates that you don't have pcos. I don't know about prolactin though.

Anyway, nothing there to indicate a problem, just need to keep going :hugs2:

LOL!! I just emailed you at the exact same time FB!

Hi ladies

Sorry to crash your post, but i need a bit of advice, i have had the same test results done recently, but when i went back to my dr for the results, he just said ''test results are normal and now dont indicate pcos'' ( 1 test i had done a few years ago came back indicating possible pcos) Do you think i should ask my dr for a copy of my results?

Again sorry to crash on your post

UPDATE

Just called the drs and ther wont give me the results over the phone, so i have to make an appointment for next week then hopefully will get them

Absolutely ask for your results - they're YOURS!

Lilly, I got mine over the phone today, I just made it clear I needed the specific numbers for something & they seemed OK with that :)
