What are the chances that everything is just fine? I'd love other stories.

I posted last week about an early ultrasound that I got. Originally, I thought I was around 6w4 days, but a week earlier over the phone my midwife bumped me up to 7w1d based on my shorter cycle.

When I went for my ultrasound, the tech found the gestational sac and the yolk sac but was not able to locate the fetal pole. She dated me at 6w1d.

To note, I have a very tilted uterus. This is nothing new, I've always been told this by every gyn I've ever seen. I'm going in for my ultrasound tomorrow where I am either 8w1d by my midwife, 7w4d by my lmp or 7w1d by my last scan. I haven't had ANY cramping or bleeding.

I am so worried and am having a lot of trouble keeping myself from getting upset. This has been one of the hardest weeks of my life.

I am trying to worry also, but my situation is different as I have not had my appt yet....I wanted to tell you about my last pregnancy tho...I should have been 6 weeks to the day when I had my first ultrasound and there was nothing there but a sac. They wanted me to wait 4 whole weeks and come back for a repeat scan and so I did and sure enough the baby was there and I was only 8 weeks and 2 days...:hugs:

I, too, have a tilted uterus. And I am always hearing that it can be hard to see baby/take accurate readings because of it.

Also, my Dr has said that the scan can be TWO WEEKS either side, so either earlier or later than what you actually are.

With no cramping/bleeding you are MOST likely ok. Just try to keep positive and pray. :hugs:I know it's hard waiting.
