What are your workouts?

    On Wednesday i was given a new workout at the gym its goes like this...
    (starred ones were what i already had)

    Cardio:
    10mins cycling*
    16 mins treadmill, 3mins walking 1 min running*
    15 mins cross trainer*
    6mins rower*

    Weights
    Arm extension 20lbs 3x15*
    Pull downs 15lbs 3x15
    Squats 20lbs 3x15
    Biceps 20lbs 3x15
    Chest press 20lbs 3x15

    Floor work
    crunches twisting to the side with medicine ball - 10 each side
    Crunches with elbow touching opposite knee - 10 each side
    Crunches with feet in air and spreading out when not crunching (does that make sense?

    I do something along the lines of:

    Workout 1 of week:
    45 mins ergo (rower) rating 18-22spm
    15 mins cool down on bike
    3x 10 various kettlebell exercises (vary to avoid getting bored) 12kg bell

    Workout 2:
    30 mins step machine or cardio wave
    30 mins cross trainer
    4x 10 sets of squats with 15kg bar
    4x20 crunches, knees raised to tabletop

    Workout 3:
    30 mins treadmill set to 10-11kmh
    25 mins arm bike
    Kettlebell as before
    20 lengths of pool

    Workout 4:
    3x 2000m row (22spm, 24spm, 26spm)
    15 mins bike
    4x 20 crunches, legs tabletop.

    I also do a pilates class and get to spinning when I can.

    Got 3 stone to get off before I'm back to normal so hitting it hard at the moment!!

    Way to go ladies! Unfortunately I don't have time to get to the gym so I have been using my body beast workout DVDs (https://www.beachbody.com/product/body-beast-workout.do) and doing those at home. Sometimes I don't even get through the whole workout before I'm interrupted, but hey, at least its something!

    When I go to the gym, I do big compound movements eg squats, deadlifts, chest press, cleans, snatches, manmakers, and pull ups :) I LOVE doing free weights.
    I've also just completed the first week of Insanity. Prior to that, I was running 3 times a week and doing 3-4 kettlebell workouts (12-16kg).

    Mon: Power Class (bar weights, free weights and resistence)
    Tues: Zumba Class
    Wed: Core/Zumba Classes
    Thurs: Step Class
    Friday: Usually Elliptical for 40-50mins
    Sat: Power Class
    Sunday: Bicycle or Elliptical or another cardio machine 40-50mins

    **When it's nice enough out (not too hot or cold or rainy lol)- I'll go for a jog/walk or take my LO along for a stroller ride. Usually on Sundays though as I really enjoy the classes I go to - and they change up the track every 4-6wks to keep our bodies working well and not getting too used to the movements. In the power class we do a lot of different types of squats/lundges too... :)
