What baby clothes do I still need?

Well I've ironed and put away most of the baby clothes today - some are still drying, there was so much!

Here's the approximate list of what we have. Any ideas on what we're low on please and how many extras we need?

It's not completely accurate as I haven't sorted out the hats properly so I know I have a few more of those and I haven't included scratch mitts.

It looks pretty good to me, by burp cloth do you mean muslins? I have seen people in threads previously recommending a lot of them, I've got about 12. SO maybe get a few more of those. Otherwise I think you've got plenty but as a 1st timer my opinion means pretty much zilch!

Oh also just a thought what about scratch mits - or do your grows have them built in? And booties/socks?

Doh! I forgot to include the muslin cloths - I have about 12 of those too. The burp cloths are like cotton strips of material to throw over your shoulder.

I've got scratch mitts, booties but I haven't counted them either! I don't have any socks...hmmm.

I would maybe get more trouser and top sets. I had loads of gros and very few seperate sets and my LO hates sleepsuits as they restrict her to much. She was breach which may have something to do with it

What season is the baby being born into? If cold, definitely some more hats. Beanies are good anyway as babies heat escapes through their heads. Maybe some little outfits? Or are you only using jumpsuits?

April - May if late - I have got some more hats somewhere and my Nan's knitting some too so hopefully will have enough by then time baby's here.

I'm planning on using the jumpsuits more than anything but I'm on team yellow so was hoping to leave outfits until I know I can buy in pink or blue!

I think you got enough, I had so many outfits for my DD and she didn't really wear them! You can always buy anything you need once LO is there, shops are open every day, next directory delivers in less than 24 hrs so I would wait until they are here! And maybe I should take my own advice and stop buying things, they're just so cute, it's hard not to!

i think u have everything u need hehe. u will want 2 buy things when baby is born aswell be fun shoping with baby. i got loads of stuff in but also havnt got everything i need as i will want 2 go shoping once baby is born i will know what she likes then and what look nice, and just want 2 get stuff when i see it.

Maybe a couple more blankets? I only say this as I had a sicky baby and could get through 3 in a day!!
