What bouncer are you getting?

I think one of the 'must have' items for a newborn is a bouncer. So I am curious to which one people are getting and why?

With DS1 I got a fairly basic but cute and neutral bouncer with 3 vibrating setting and he loved it but it was a pain to wash and he outgrew it fast. So I ended up getting him a fisher price one which I originally dismissed because it was not as cute but it was bigger and easer to wash which made me love it! So for DS2 we have put a bit of throught into what to buy and have decided that we love the mamaroo bouncer by 4moms. We like that it emulated the swaying motions of a parent and how many setting sit has...DH likes you can plug the iPad into it but I don't really see the need for that.

My first hated the bouncer, so we still have the one from her since she barely used it. It is a Boppy one, so we shall see what baby #2 thinks of it. We are investing in a new swing though since our first ran that one down she used it so much. Not sure what to get yet though.

We have the Fisher Price Precious Planet bouncer, we had it from DS and he loved it!
I've also brought a swing this time, I got the Fisher Price Love U Zoo one

We only had a bouncer with DS, we never tried a swing. The mamaroo is not really a swing or bouncer so I hope that DS2 likes it.

I love 4moms! I have the Breeze (I know...you're asking about bouncers!). Their bouncer is so much more than a bouncer! My cousin has one and loves it. Our other cousin actually works for 4moms too so I may be a bit biased!

Definitely a cool choice.

We already have a bouncer from DS! Its the rainforest fisher price one - just need a swing (prob the rainforest one again) as we borrowed one for DS from a friend x

I loved my bouncers - very plain ones with no music or vibration features. Aswell as providing an alternative to lying on a mat, my babies used a bouncy chair for initial weaning stage as high chair was too big.
I have been offered a swing so may give it a go but I don't tend to use swings or bouncy chairs for babies sleeping as I am quite strict about them using cot or pram for naps.

What I have bought this time is the mothercare beanbag - looks so comfy. I will get a wee cheapy bouncer too with toy bar but no music etc.

I have bought the basic Kiddicare bouncer (£10) and this will be used upstairs when I am showering, bathing, doing washing etc and want LO safe.

I'm getting the same one as Midnight_Fairy. I've just ordered it as its on offer from mothercare. I bought my sister a fisher price one for her baby and she really likes it so hopefully this one will be just as good.
