What can we claim?

Hey,

Just wondering if theres anymore things I could be claiming money wise. We get child benefit, and i've filled out the tax credits form today (epic!). Just wondering if theres anyting else i'm issing, as I didnt' realise I could get tax credits until recently!!!

if its in the first 3 months of little one being born then you can claim for the maternity grant one off payment of £500

sorry to crash your thread but wigglesnemoe is the maternity grant for anyone or only in certain circumstances?

Maternity grant is for first baby (or at least will be soon) if you claim tax credits above a certain amount.

it is for anyone that is unable to work due to having a baby we COULDNT get it while I was preggers as hubbie earned over 16K BUT I was told to try again once LO is born in the 1st 3 months and you'll likely get it and we did so we managed to get a lovely pushchair
