What can we take?

Hi ladies, I have a cold and terrible sore thorat, I haven't taken anything other than 2 paracetomol but was wondering if there is anything else I can take safely while pregnant? I dont have any honey or lemon in the house so can't make my own concoction. xxx

Im in the same boat as you, have been for tge last 10ish days. Ive been taking paracetamol and hot drinks. Dr and pharmacist said to try get by with lemon and honey in my drink etc, which obviously isnt doing much for me

Oh no, poor you! I had a friend that suffered with loads of colds while pregnant so am quite surprised I have managed to get to 30 weeks and this be the first one. I will ask DH to bring some home then unless I can get the energy up to walk to the shop. Hope you feel better soon. You are due a few days before me, how exciting! xxx

Codeine makes me feel like Im on drugs, very spaced out, maybe best avoiding that but thanks for the tip, useful if I get desperate! xxx
