What did you do with all of your congrats cards when lo was born??

I've kept them all. They are in a drawer somewhere, I think?!? I am gonna do 2 we memory boxes with cards, hospital ID, ultrasound pics and first babygros etc. If I ever get round to it! X

I've put them in her box but we didn't get many so easy to store

Ive kept my preg tests too and scans and my pregnancy journal abd notes! I think Ive kept everything even slightly pregnancy/baby connected!

I can't remember if it was on this forum or another, but someone had a great idea of keeping all the backs of the cards that contained messages and then with the front of the cards she cut little pieces out (e.g. words like boy, congrats or pics of bears etc) and then put them on a piece of card and made a collage which had framed and hung in their nursery. I'm thinking of doing the same thing...

That's a cute idea!!

Thanks for all your replies ladies :)

Im keeping Ollys, somewhere haha.

When i was 13 we moved house, when we cleared the loft out we found a bag of congratulations cards from when i was born :cloud9: it was so lovely, i cant believe my mum kept them hidden for 13 years! She had already pulled out all of my old baby clothes for me to dress my dolls up in but never mentioned the cards. Was a lovely little surprise though

i bought a box from next that says 'born in 2010' its pink with a teddy on it, everything has gone into there; cards, unltrasound pics, wrist band and coming home outfit.

I didn't keep the cards :(

I've got these though! They are cut-out baby outfits with messages to me on one side and messages to DS on the other from the baby shower. Everyone hung them up on a line with baby clothes pins - it's a nice little keepsake!

Yeh I don't think I can throw them  I was wondering if anyone had any quirky ideas for keeping them?

I suppose you could put them all in a large plastic picture frame...Make a pretty picture for the Lo's bedroom wall :winkwink:

Glad im not alone in keeping these!

I've got mine too!! :haha:

We had so many cards that they would never fit in a picture frame, I might put them all in a photo album or something though!

I kept them all from Mia and Ellie and I will do what I done for Mia and make up a folder/albulm with the cards, hospital bracelets cot cards etc, with "special moment" pics xx

We kept all of ours think we have about 10, kept them along with pregnancy tests, hospital bands etc..i want to get round to doing a scrapbook sometime xx

I kept all the cards, along with hospital tags, first babygrow she wore, coming home outfit, first piece of post, newspaper from day she was born, radio times from week she was born, deflated balloon, pregnancy journal, a letter to her just in case anything ever happens to me, and other stuff

I've kept everything in a box. I did want to keep my pregnancy tests as well but after the test window went quite discoloured I decided it was time to throw them out.. I do have pictures of them all though :haha:

Someone gave us a lovely box that ties with ribbon, I think it was from Next. It was really cute and said 'Born in 2010", and just the right size for all the cards... she had 124, I didn't think we even knew that any people!! We kept them up on the dining room table for weeks after LO was born, I was so upset to put them away!

I kept all mine and I am making a scrapbook of her life with everything in it.. which I will give to her on her 21st birthday.

I put Amara's in her keepsake box I made her. But I know my mum put ours into a photo album, I think that is a good way to store them.

I've kept all mine and when I get a minute or 2 I'll be putting them all in this box I made along with other a few other bits I can't bear to get rid of :haha:
