What did you eat today? (second trimester edition)

Breakfast:
Green smoothie

Lunch:
Grilled cheese sandwich
Split Pea soup

Snack:
Granola

Snack:
Chips and salsa

Dinner:
Veggie and hummus wrap
 
Breaky - Strawberry ensure
Snack - Vector cereal
Lunch - Potatoe chowder
Snack - Ice cream with twinkie and nerds :blush:
Dinner - Stake! and apple...

We have the same date for our gender scans.. Valentines Day! Can't wait !
 
You girls eat so healthy!! My kitchen is being remodeled and all we have is a fridge and microwave.... Really stinks! But I know I will love my new kitchen!

Breakfast:
Cereal with milk.... Large glass of OJ (Ok I’m lying.. i didn’t put it in a glass.. I drank right out of the jug and finished it)

Lunch:
Microwave lasagna meal
Fruit roll up

Took a 2 hour nap

Snack:
Keurig decaf coffee
Handful of salt and vinegar chips

Dinner:
California roll from favorite sushi joint and cup of miso soup!
(husband had spicy tuna and I drooled over his raw fish full of mercury bad for baby roll)

Today was an 'ok' eating day :)

Breakfast: vitamin, tea and 2 toasts (one with Nutella:thumbup: and one with cheese)

Lunch: 1 Fiber one bar :blush:

Snack: Toast with cheese

Snack 2: honeydew melon and watermelon

Dinner: Baked tilapia with cheese and potatoes and a large salad

I am now looking at it and I'm not sure it was enough for the day (Although I'm full).....:shrug:

I know what you mean! I feel so full but it doesn't seem like a lot! I guess baby does take up some stomach space though?

It seems like it :) It's just funny how some days I could eat an elephant and some days I just forget to eat :shrug:
 
Hmmm, my first contribution. Haven't made it as far as dinner yet!!

Breakfast: boiled egg, toast with butter, tea, half a dozen prunes
Snack: granola bar & yogurt
Lunch: apple, leftover homemade turkey pie
Snack: dried fruit and nut mix

Looking at this I just realized I've had nothing to drink since breakfast! Must go fix this - odd I'm not at all thirsty... guess that's a good sign, thirst is an indication of gestational diabetes...
 
Breakfast- 2 crumpets
Snack- yoghurt
Lunch- ham, rocket and tomato roll with crisps
Snack -bananna.
Dinner- not yet eaten but will be chilli and jacket potato with cheese.
 
First POST! (:

Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs, banana
Snack: 5.3 oz Greek yogurt
Lunch: 6 Ritz Crackers, 1 oz pepper jack cheese, 4 oz ham, banana

LOTS & LOTS of water through out the day.
 
Cheerios, 2 drifters, 2 packets of tomato walkers (bad bad bad lol) and vegetable soup :D
 
Before Breakfast: Pomegranate

Breakfast: Bowl of porridge made with water (not milk), with sliced banana, blueberries, ground flax seed and a touch of maple syrup

Lunch 1: Piece of homemade organic bread with a load of hummous, 2 radishes and 1 carrot

Lunch 2: a vegan mac n cheese microwave meal (super fattening!)

Snack: 2 homemeade coconut-milk popovers (just made with eggs, salt, flour and coconut milk)

Dinner: lentil pomegranate daal, probably with rice and some sort of vegetables

and will probably try to force down some extra protein either as roasted beans or an egg, blech... still not doing great on the protein front! and knowing me will have another snack as well!


drinks: water, roiboos tea, and 'cure all' tea (kukicha tea with umeboshi plum and shoyu soy sauce)

Another day of random grazing... I never eat organized meals when I’m home all day....

1/2 cup coffee... Maybe 4oz
1 slice of cheese
2 peach Activia yogurts
banana

Bowl of cereal with milk

Snack:
About 4 twizzlers, 3 jolly ranchers

whole grape fruit

Cup of miso soup

Today was going okay until everything fell apart around dinner. I just added up the calories and it makes me want to cry. Definitely one of my worst days to date. Stupid free pizza! ](*,)
