What did you eat today? (second trimester edition)

Breakfast:
One scrambled egg with some cheese
Two slices cinnamon raisin toast with butter
Glass of milk

"Lunch"
Baby carrots
Trail mix granola bar
Apple
Cup of barley soup with assorted veggies

"Second lunch"
Rice with chicken and broccoli
Some dried fruit
Cheese wedge

Snack:
Peanut butter granola bar

Snack:
Some dried fruit
Whole wheat pita with cheese wedge

Dinner is yet undecided! But Im already getting hungry again!!


Sounds healthy :)
I want a peanut butter granola bar now, lol

Medium banana

Morning Snacks
String cheese
Whole grain waffle with apricot preserves

Lunch
Oatmeal with banana slices

Afternoon Snacks
Apple slices
Granola bar
Handful of cheese crackers

Dinner
Lentil soup
Mixed green salad

Dessert
Bowl of cereal with strawberries

Yesterday I had:

Breakfast:
Half a bowl of chili with cheese on top
Bowl of cooked Broccoli
A couple slices of Grapefruit

Lunch:
1 Soft boiled egg on a piece of multigrain toast

Snack:
Yogurt
Pistachios
A few marshmallows

Dinner:
2 chicken tacos, street style

I think there was something else too, but I don't remember now what it was :wacko:
 
Breakfast: 2 blueberry waffles
Lunch: scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, turkey bacon and corn tortillas
Dinner: Chicken and bell peppers sauteed in soy sauce, macaroni & cheese, homemade french fries and corn

I have not had one single snack today. Shocking to me! I will have some small oranges later before bed though
 
I have been struggling to eat healthy my entire pregnancy... all I want is fattening carby foods! BUT... lately I am getting a wee bit better.

Today I had:

Breakfast:
Bowl of Special K cereal and 1% milk

Lunch:
10 soda crackers with dill pickles and 2 Babybel cheese
1 can of Root Beer :O

Dinner:
Grilled cheese sandwich on ww, homemade potato soup with lots of veggies

PM snack:
Apple with peanut butter
Milk

I drink water all throughout the day.

This surprisingly was a pretty "healthy" day for me..... :P

??? Probably a waffle with apricot jam, but I could really go for an ice cream bar right now...

Apple slices with almond butter

Lunch:
Vegetarian tacos with beans, rice and tofu

Snack:
Organic home made cake
Blackberry ice cream, I'm bad today lol

Dinner:
Almond butter and jelly on whole wheat bread

Snack:
Canned chicken corn chowder (wish it was home made but I'm too lazy right now)

Organic orange juice yummmm

Fresh squeezed juice smoothie
3 street-style chicken tacos

Snack:

Lunch:
A Ramen noodle with a large glass of milk

Snack:
Yogurt
Pistachios

Dinner:
5 large shell noodles stuffed with spinach, cheese, and marinara sauce

Desert:
1 and 1/2 twinkies. Hubby ate the other 1/2 :p

I make almost everything from scratch. Except, of course, the ramen and twinkies :dohh:

Lunch - Big salad with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and avocado

Snack - dried papaya and 2 small apples

Dinner - 1/2 spaghetti squash with vegetarian chili

Snack - Blueberry danish :shy:

I really indulged today. Lol. I will excuse myself and blame it on a baby's growth spurt day. Lol. Gotta love fattening carby fettuccine Alfredo!
