I'm going to get a swinging crib for in my room for when its bed time..

But babies sleep pretty much ALL day, and I don't know whether to get a Moses Basket for downstairs, or just let baby sleep in a bouncerchair or their buggies...

I don't know what would be best.

I think I want a moses basket but my mam said the LO wont be able to define when nighttime is if LO is sleeping in a moses basket during the day...

Oh Im just so confused :S

there are just wayyyyy to many options! I wouldn't worry about LO one knowing day from night for awhile. In the beginning babies sleep all the time whether it's day or night, anyways and you can't get them on a schedule until later.

I had a Moses basket for my 2 children - I found them useful but I had big babies 8lb 2 and 9lb 9 - so after about 6 weeks they were no longer any good.!! I'm not getting one this time around. I wouldn't worry about the nighttime routine as babies tend to set their own pace. Lol

All my babies napped in their swing, but I'm going to get a moses basket this time around, just for something new.

I'm thinking I'm going to get a moses basket for downstairs, I really don't know haha! But thanks for all your advice!

I had a moses basket for downstairs and a crib for upstairs and she didnt get confused with night time. Although they dont last very long, it just happened i could borrow my friends moses basket. This time ill be getting a swing

Ahhhh the confusion lol my fellas granny is buying me a moses basket so i guess its decided but who knows... maybe ill have a ginormous baby lmao x

get a moses basket, theyre so handy i had 1 for bed but ended up up and down the staris with it so bought another 1, 1 for upstairs 1 for downstairs, when they sleep in there bouncer u look at them and think they not comfortable x

my daughter had a moses basket and she slept in that regardless of whether it was day or night - the real reason they get to know is when theyre a few months old and their body clocks adjust - they know from their routines like for my daughter she knows once shes had her second solid meal of the day, bath is followed shortly afterwards, then sleepsuit then i draw the curtains so its dusky and have quiet time. i dont personally think where they sleep in the day and night makes any difference. my sister used to put her boys to sleep in their pushchair lying flat so she could wheel them around the house with her haha, you could do that, or for ease i would get a basket for downstairs and when LO outgrows it just use the cot upstairs for day and night time and get a baby monitor :flower: HTH xxx

Thanks for everyones help. I think I'm going to get a moses basket for downstairs!
