I think im right and my GP is wrong!
In aug/september my gp put me on antidepressents.
Since then i missed 2 periods the first 2 months after taking them, then had a bleed every 20 days, three times, and now im on day 36 without a bleed.
It suddenly dawned on me today that the antidepressents, that im no longer taking has caused all the problems!
The Seretonin that antidepresents give can raise prolactin which if you have too much stops ovulation and interfers with your periods!!
I asked my doc when i had missed 2 periods if it could be the drug and he dismissed it by saying they wouldnt worry until i had missed 6 periods!!!!
bare in mind my periods were regular and fine from Jan 2010 when they came back after having my daughter in the nov b4!
this sounds very plausable doesnt it!!?
dont know whether to be excited or peed off!
