What do you see in my ultrasound??

So I didn't get a full fledge ultrasound yet where they look all around....jsut had a vaginal one done at 11 weeks to check for hb. I have a very tilted uterus to I have been told.

So take a look at my ultrasound picture....the head is down and to the right but was cut off the picture bc of the lines for the hb.

SInce my baby is only 11 weeks 1 day, the legs would still be in front and kinda up. This picture, it looks like a big baby with legs curled down.....OR a baby with legs going up and something in the background making the baby look big???

I just want some oppinions from people who have had plenty of ultrasounds and would be great to know from anyone pregnant with twins.

hey hun,

to me looks like we're seeing the side/back of your baby, head down to the right as you said, he/she looks like they're lying on their left side and in the upper left is their bottom and a leg curled up, then in the lower left (near where the HB reading is), looks like an arm/hand.

That's what I can make of it, I'm not a professional lol, but in my experience with scans, that's what my eyes see

hmmmm!!! I am terrible with these ultrasounds!! Wish I could see the head! Can you see a nub shot??! lol

hmmmm!!! I am terrible with these ultrasounds!! Wish I could see the head! Can you see a nub shot??! lol

lol, it takes practice reading them, I've had quite a few since this is my 2nd pregnancy, plus my DH is a doctor so he taught me how to read them when I was pregnant with DS

I circled where the hand is and put an arrow to the bottom where you would expect to see a nub if the picture was taken at more of a side-view, however even if we could see the nub, it would be hard to tell the gender since it's before the 12th week.

Do you have another scan anytime soon? If so, I would ask the tech if you can get a nub shot
