I didn't realise you were asking us to chose between them Sorry.

I thought you had already chosen Alice Oliva Cain but were wondering how they sounded to others as a full name and as just Alice Cain, which is what most people will call her.

I like middle names for formal occasions etc. I always try to imagine how they will sound at the wedding, when the vicar says "Do you, Alice Olivia Cain, take..." to get an idea of if names work together and will sound great for life.

So now I want to change my reply to Alice Olivia Cain, which will still sound great as just Alice Cain when she doesn't need to give her full name.
