So i have my names in my head althogh im still working on DH agreement! lol.

Both names are fairly unusual (or at least here and i dont know anyone with either)

So... Addyson *NN addy* --- but do you think BOY or GIRL??? I think Y would make it girly??

I love Addyson Ivy ( so much i want a girl so i can just have it!! lol)

Also love Fletcher... but what do you think of?
(no racial meaning intended) but do you think of the little black boy from Bodyguard??? lol.

I love both. Trying to keep them a secret from everyone but the more i think of them the more i only love these names and cant think of anything else so i hope DH comes round. haha

I love the name Fletcher, It's adorable OH's cousin is called Fletcher, as for Addyson..not to keen, IMO, i thnk its more of a boys name :flower:

I LOVE Addyson :) It's soooo sweet and goes very well with Ivy :)
As for Fletcher I'm not so keen on sorry :/ I see it as a last name IMO :) x x

My immediate thought was boy name but then I did a double take on myself and wasn't sure. I do like it though x

Addyson Ivy is adorable! Definitely think of it as a girl's name before a boy's, but I know Addison can be used both ways.

Not huge on Fletcher only because I know someone whose last name is Fletcher so I just assume it's a surname

I really like both...Addison/Addyson is definitely a girls name here and Addyson Ivy sounds great! I also love Fletcher...very cute and not very common at all! Doesn't make me think of the Bodyguard bc I haven't seen it in ages...it's not exactly a classic movie so I don't think the name will bring the movie to anyone's mind.

I've never heard of Addison as a boys name....may be a US thing! It is a lovely name, regardless!

I think Addyson Ivy is cute. But, I'm partial to the name Addison.

I have never heard addison used as a boys name but know a handful of girls with the name so thats my immediate thought when i hear it.

As for fletcher it doesnt remind me of the bodyguard but it does remind me of the show murder she wrote. The main characters name was jessica fletcher.

I definately think of a girl for Addyson, though I prefer the spelling Addison, and Addie, but that's just personal preference.

And I def think of a boy for Fletcher, though it didn't really make me think of anyone specificially.

:)

I thought of girl for Addyson. I like the name but wouldnt use it myself because it makes me think of Addison's disease (i come from medical background). And i thought of a boy for Fletcher and didnt make me think of the boy from bodyguard!

Not keen on Addison. I know it's wildly popular in the states so probably will become so here. I prefer the spelling Addison to Addyson and I definitely think of it as a girls name.

LOVE Fletcher. It was on my shortlist if DD had been a boy. Never thought of the boy from the bodyguard. I did think what kind of associations people might make (because we were team yellow and it was in the top 3 names for our boy name) and these are what I thought of:

1. Fletch (the movie, Chevy Chase)
2. Norman Stanley Fletcher (Fletcher from Porridge, appreciate people from outside the UK will have no idea what I'm talking about)
3. Fletcher Christian (didn't like the association but not sure many people would make it!)
4. Dexter Fletcher (actor in the UK, again not that well known but was in lots of shows when I was a kid so memorable for me)
5. Darren Fletcher (footballer)

Addison/Addyson is definitely a girls name here and I also love the name Luna. Short and smart.
