What do you think of the name Layton for a boy? At first I really liked it but now I'm not 100%, what does it make you think of, do you think its quite unusual? And spelling Layton, Leyton or Leighton?? Decisions lol x

Makes me think of Lleyton Hewitt the tennis player, but I'm Australian. I quite like the name, unfortunately I don't like the association with him. I don't dislike the guy, I think he's just turned me off it a bit. I do think it's a nice name though :flower:

P.S. I prefer either Lleyton or Leighton, xo

I like it! Keep in mind, when you name your baby he will sometimes get called the shortened version of his name... For example, I am Heather and I have always been called "Heathe". He will be called "Layt", which isn't too bad (especially when you consider we thought about naming our son Aston..."Ass").

When I think of Layton, I always think of a small town in Northern California (Laytonville) and also when I was a child we had a RV that said LAYTON across the side. Fond childhood memories. And a cute name. :)

Prefer the spelling Leyton :)
There's a town near us called Leighton buzzard :haha:

Really like the name though!!
