what does braxton hicks feel like!?

so last night i was in bed and my sotmach was so sore. im 28 weeks pregnant and i felt like i had a period. it was really bad cramps it was just that feeling in your stomach like when you have your period! what does braxton hicks actually feel like cause i would like to know if that was them.!

The way it feels for me is if you start to feel like your in the middle of doing a bunch of sit ups, and you touch the belly and its hard, thats a BH. Haha. I know, my description sucks. Everyone has a different way of describing it though.

You'll know when your uncomfortable and move around and it goes away.
