What does my midwife mean by this?

We went through my birth plan the other day and after she had gone read through it.She wrote phone triage when contracting 3 in 10 strong/regular,what does she mean by this? This is my first baby

3 in 10 means you are getting 3 contractions in every 10 minutes and that they are strong and regular.
