What does my Progesterone result mean?

Hey Ladies
I have found out that my result of my Progesterone test on CD23 (approx 7 days after ov) was 31.5 (nmol/L i think) ?

Would anyone know what this means? Good or bad and does it indicate ovulation???

I haven't seen the doctor yet but am pre-empting the results. Please if anyone could help would greatly put my mind at rest. Megaly stressing about this

Hi MrsRM,

In the UK they look for anything 30+ as an indication that ovulation has taken place so I think you are fine xx

i agree flower, they're looking for anything over 30, although my doc told me 25.

it means that you have ovulated, which is great news.
my progesterone on 7 dpo was around 31 and they put me on pregynl injections (progesterone), my fertility clinic wanted progesterone to be around 60-100 after ovulation. each clinic is different, best of luck.

hi yeah anything above 30 is good....

last aug mine was 64.....

i was then put on clomid in oct & in dec the level was 168! i got my bfp feb 2010, am expecting twins i only have 1 ovary so i had the day 21 bloods done bk in 2005 when i was ttc my dd too...my level was 32 then, the next mth i conceived my dd...so i would agree anything above 30 is fine & shows u have great chance of conceiving! good luck xx

Thanks guys thats good to know...so i did ov which is great but is still fear that it is a little on the low side, however i guess the FS will advise me if he feels its a too low.
