What does your 10 week old do?

My LO is ten and a half weeks old. He feeds every 3 hours roughly in the day and sleeps pretty well in the night at the moment. In the day, inbetween feeds, he is asleep for half the time and awake for half the time. Is this normal? Also, when he is awake he is either on the activity mat, in the bouncer, in my arms while we walk around the house, sing etc or on a playmat and I make faces at him etc. Is there anything more that I can do with him at this age as I feel like Im not doing enough still?

Sounds brilliant what you're doing! Sophie is a couple of weeks older and that's what we do too. Just lots of face time and smiles and I talk to her and show her lots of colorful toys. She still has to learn to grab things, before that as long as you give them lots of attention and talk/sing to them and make funny faces you're all good!

No that's fine . Sophie sleeps between 4-5 hours during the day and then about 11 at nigth.

I figure as long as she doesn't wake up in the middle of the night done sleeping, she can sleep as much as she can during the day.

Just follow your babies cues!

Great! That is what I'm doing - he has been asleep for two hours now! I don't wake him as I do want him to lead me and he sleeps well at night too (11-6 last night) so I can't complain!

Sometimes Lola will sleep from feed until next feed but not that often and we are doing exactly what u wrote,nothing more,nothing less xx

We do the same sort of things, just with more frequent feeding inbetween. xx

we have a pretty similar routine going, although my lil chunk, has a big appetite, and is on hungrier baby milk, so can stretch between 3-4 hours inbetween feeds. after his first feed in the morning, he usually has a little nap, then when hes awake, we talk, have a quick wash, then some tummy time, go out in pram etc, he will have his 2nd nap around 13.30-14.00
