what dpo did you test positive?

hey ladies im from the ttc forums and im ttc baby#2! im not sure how many dpo i was when i tested positive as i wasnt tracking. can you please tell me how many dpo you were when you tested positive?? im on 8dpo at the mo and im testing negative hoping you ladies could give me any info on if thats normal or not or im defo not pregnant. thanks! x

I had a veryyyy faint line on internet cheapie at 8dpo, then positive on a digi at 9dpo. Goodluck! Xx

I was a little bit different as I had an hcg shot to trigger ovulation, and this gives false positives. But I reckon my tests at 9 dpo were true positives.

However....everyone is different and 8dpo is very early to be testing. So don't lose heart just yet. If you can, maybe skip tomorrow and try 10dpo. Or better still try and last out till 15dpo by which time your test would almost certainly be positive if you were preg. (tho I know I could never last that long!)

I had my VERY faint line on an IC at 9dpo and 1-2weeks on the digi at 10dpo. Fxd for you lovely

I think that you should wait untill you miss your period then test the day after or 2 days after it is supposed to come. I myself find no use in testing any sooner than that.

i think i might 'try' and hold off testing. im a very impatient person though lol and i have a few tests so it will be hard! thanks for the advice x

8 dpo is very early, implantation may not have happened yet (average is 8 - 10 dpo) so don't be discouraged! Then it takes another 2 days at least for hcg to get into your urine.

I got a very light bfp at 11 dpo. I definitely would have had a bfn at 8 dpo x

I wasn't sure exactly when I ovulated, so decided to take it as the latest probable date, and because of that tested when I thought I was 8 dpo with afternoon urine (I just couldn't resist!). Based on the dating scan I have had now though I think I would actually have been 10dpo at that time. I got a line that was so very faint and silvery that I genuinely believed it to be an evap line and a BFN, threw it in the bin and thought nothing more of it. I got my BFP 2 days later so that first line could well have been the start of something, but I'm not sure.

So, my definite wasn't until I was 12dpo... so fingers crossed for you still for this month!

I got a + on Monday which would have been 15dpo ISH - not getting positive CB digi's atm and my lines are still faint but definitely there.

My one step only showed a shadow of a line at 15dpo but I've run out now so can't check! x

I had a faint positive on both New Choice (dollar store) and FRER on 9 DPO ...I believe I ovulated (according to what I think was an implantation dip) at 7dpo.
