what is anterior placenta?

    just read thru my notes and it says i have anterior placenta. what is it???

    The placenta is at the front of your tummy.

    just it's at the front. It doesn't mean much just you normally don't feel kicks until later because of the placental cushioning

    what they said. Anterior is on the front wall and posterior is on the back wall. Very common and nothing to worry about. As Chele said it may muffle movement but my last 2 have been anterior and I felt my last LO from 15 weeks. :)
